My name is Annie Grotton, and I was born and raised in Midcoast Maine, where I was active in basketball and volunteering in my community. I ventured to central Maine for college and attended Thomas College to earn my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I later completed my master’s degree in criminology, also from Thomas College and began my work in the mental health field in 2021.
My experience has led me to work in two different teen residential settings as a discharge planner, most recently for Ridge Maine. I love being able to make connections with families, providers, and programs all over the country! My passion is helping clients find supports and resources to help them transition successfully home after they have stabilized in our programs.
In my personal time, I enjoy camping, being outside and adventuring around our beautiful state with my husband and our son. Maine has it all! From all four seasons, to mountains, lakes, oceans and yes, even a desert, I can’t think of anywhere better to be! While I may enjoy the occasional tropical vacation, Maine will always be home.
I am thankful for the Ridge Maine team that I get to collaborate with every day!
