Ridge RTC was specifically developed to cater to the needs of adolescents that require therapy, increased structure, higher supervision, and fewer distractions. Upon admission, our teens and young adults begin our specialized therapies alongside treatment activities that are tailored to their unique difficulties. Our team of professionals provides an intensive level of support throughout their stay with us, immersing them in a healthy and positive lifestyle and eventually leading them to independence.
We take pride in providing an exemplary program that provides increased support, structure, and comprehensive therapy for young adults and teens. Our professional mental health residential program offers high levels of supervision, a caring environment, and minimal distractions. The program prioritizes therapeutic support, ensuring that teens and adolescents with more intensive care needs than what they would receive at home or school have access to the best care possible.
What to Expect at Ridge RTC
The programming at Ridge RTC intends to stabilize, evaluate, and prepare teenagers for a happier and more productive life outside the program. To foster a healthy lifestyle that includes physical activity, exposure to nature, a balanced diet, community contributions, and accountability, rigorous efforts are made. Both our New Hampshire facility and our lakeside Maine campus offer designated dorms and quality care. Additionally, we provide a 1-4 staff-to-student ratio with an alert overnight staff.
One of our focal points during treatment includes outdoor experiential activities. These are complemented by structured instructor-led sessions in yoga, music, art, and other experiential modalities. To provide greater structure and less “idle” time, there will be more outdoor programming utilizing existing trail networks for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing, as well as the introduction of an engaging experiential initiative in the “Base Camp” location.
