Raised in a suburb north of Boston, I’ve always felt a strong connection to New England. I earned my master’s in social work (MSW) from Boston University, specializing in trauma. My career path has been shaped by both my professional and personal experiences, including my time serving in the United States Army. My military service allowed me to travel and live in several different states, enriching my understanding of diverse communities.

After my military service, I embarked on a personal journey focused on mindfulness, nature, and cultivating energy in ways that promote overall well-being. This journey helped me recognize the importance of living intentionally and balancing the demands of life. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces for all individuals, offering empathetic care that respects and affirms diverse identities.

In my therapeutic practice, I draw on a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Strengths-Based Approaches. I believe in tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, and I strive to offer tools that facilitate lasting change. My approach is person-centered, integrating both my academic training and lived experiences to support individuals through their personal challenges. I understand the impacts that psychosocial factors and family dynamics can have on self-worth and development. This awareness allows me to offer trauma-sensitive, individualized care that meets clients where they are.

Outside of work, I find joy in spending time outdoors, creating memories with loved ones, and connecting with positive, like-minded individuals. I believe in the power of passion and energy, and in the words of Confucius, “Find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” Living in Maine and working at The Ridge allows me to truly live those words, and it’s a privilege to support the individuals I work with on their journeys.
