Dan Fournier

Hi, I’m Dan Fournier — a Maine-raised outdoor enthusiast, traveler, music lover, and people person. I studied at the University of Maine, originally focusing on foreign language instruction in French. My passion for adventure led me to join the Maine Bound outdoor program, where I guided students up Mt. Katahdin, led winter kayaking trips down the Kenduskeag River, and helped many conquer their first indoor climbing wall.

I’ve always been drawn to helping others. In 2018, I began my journey in the mental health field as a Behavioral Health Professional. I discovered how much I valued working directly with clients and supporting their growth. In 2021, I shifted to one-on-one work with students at a special-purpose private school, where I gained hands-on experience with Applied Behavior Analysis — skills I now bring to my role as a Program Manager at Ridge.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me tinkering with small engine repair projects, traveling to Quebec (and keeping my French sharp), or spending time with my pack of four dogs and two cats.
