Maximizing Coverage for Teen Mental Health Recovery at Ridge RTC Through Optum Behavioral Health
Ridge RTC is an in-network provider with Optum Behavioral Health, and we are dedicated to supporting teens and adolescents on their journey to recovery in any way that we can.
We understand the importance of maximizing insurance coverage for our patients. Since we are in network with Optum, we hope to ensure that residential services are as accessible as possible for teens in need and to work with families to provide their loved ones with crisis treatment and ongoing mental health support.
What is Optum Insurance?
Optum Behavioral Health insurance is healthcare coverage designed to address the mental health needs of adolescents and their caregivers. It is part of Optum Health, which is a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group.
Serving Our Community as Optum Mental Health
Providers for Teens
Ridge RTC’s residential programs have helped countless teens and adolescents develop positive coping strategies and make healthier choices. We’re always looking for new ways to improve access and help more teens get world-class mental health care.
As Optum mental health providers, we are able to offer more affordable care to our teen patients. This includes stabilizing treatment and ongoing support for a range of mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, eating disorders, and other mood or behavioral disorders. We are also able to provide resources to support caregivers as they navigate treatment for their loved ones.
If you have coverage through Optum Behavioral Health insurance, some or all of your teen’s treatment at Ridge RTC may be covered. Please contact us to learn about our admissions and treatment process, as well as to schedule an initial assessment for your child.
Ridge RTC and Optum Behavioral Health Aligned in Recovery-Focused Approach
Peer support is a fundamental component of the recovery-focused approach of Optum Behavioral Health coverage – and of our approach at Ridge RTC. Our partnership allows us to ensure that more teens get access to the peer support services they need in order to thrive in recovery, with a focus on group therapy and learning how to connect and learn from others who are (or have been) in a similar situation.
By sharing their experiences with others, our teen patients feel more understood and less isolated in their mental health struggles. We strongly believe in this type of support and are committed to prioritizing it in our New Hampshire and Maine campuses.
