I strive to provide a compassionate and educational platform to allow growth, promote change, and enhance autonomy. I have completed a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville; and am a pre-licensed professional with 15+ years in the mental health sector.
Historically, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings and with all age groups in areas such as community mental health, military/veteran work, inpatient, residential, juvenile justice, foster-care, intensive in-home therapy and co-occurring programs. Some of my specialties include family dynamic issues, difficult life transitions, trauma, and substance use. It is my goal to support those who may be seeking validation, transparency, and consistent accountability in navigating life’s challenges while creating solution focused goals and building overall confidence.
I have found that the unique balance of direct, honest, strength and relationship-based approaches are crucial to the overall effectiveness in a therapeutic setting. I offer a safe space for clients to feel vulnerable and encourage them to be their authentic self throughout their healing journeys with guidance, accountability, and empathy.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dogs, watching horror movies, and spending time with husband, and our blended family of 5 children.
